Eastern Shore Boardwalk Chair
In the late 1800s, wealthy visitors flocking to Atlantic City resorts might have found the Eastern Shore Boardwalk chair among lobby and room furnishings. A camel back crest announces a regal touch while flared curves lead to armrests and arched skirting. In a closed rattan fiber weave design that finishes with wrapped legs and ball feet, this seating choice is a perfect fit for bedroom reading areas or as an accent piece in sunrooms. For the summer months, add an optional acrylic coating and take it outdoors to a covered porch for relaxed conversations. With a host of finish selections and an included white cushion, it’s a classic accompaniment in small or large spaces.

For porches, we offer an Acrylic, Non-Toxic and Water Based Varnish Application that will provide some protection against the elements. Manufacture suggests this application should be Re-Applied Every 1-1/2 to 2 years.
The Natural Finish is “Natural & Green” in the raw state; No Top Coat, No Stain and No Finish. Factory uses only Grade “A” White Wicker for the Natural Product Line. Grade A is earned because of the lack of blemishes in the wicker or rattan, hand picking only color consistent pieces of wicker and rattan for these raw pieces. A Non Toxic Sealer Coat is applied at the factory so the paint or stain does not soak through to the core of the wicker and rattan.
A Clear Coat option is available and can be applied to the furniture piece to offer additional protection for the raw materials, if your intentions are not to paint, stain or varnish the piece later.
